SUN NEWSPAPER OUTDOOR FUN !
Mood:  irritated
The treasure hunt conducted by the Sun newspaper Malaysia as an outdoor activity on 28th Sunday August 05at Tropicana was a disaster of the sane intellect. Only if some one could standup and question the rationale of the answers given!! I would have been a happy onlooker like the others..... Having participated and endured this dose of insanity my hypothesis are that 1)the questionairre developer may not necessarily possess a sound secondary/tertiary qualification. 2)The organizer who set these questions had little pedagogy or design behind the line of intellect (was it lateral thinking that he engaged??? or was it insanity at work in a mixed up confused sorry state of a mind ???) Media in itself is a knowledge deliverer however the activity run was a murder. While the newspaper in all innocence took pride in the fact that few participants had a good score,,, little did they realise that such an activity has an impact on their upcoming image that is independent of such shoddy outdoor activities and a challenging media in its own right. Audiences deserve more intellectual challenges of some higher order. Not the sort of a description to logic making. AN EXAMPLE -------NAZA for the answer and the logic being- AZAN is NAZA spelt backwards ----where you drive back to prayer smiling or laughing etc etc ....This clearly reflects a dibilitated mind depleting grey matter a clear result of too much alcohol over the years. One could speculate more--- was this questionaire a result of one of those hangovers!!!!? The questionairre developer of the treasure hunt had taken words/brand names that were subliminally appealling to his eye from within the Tropican club area ,,,,,He then reflected on the brand name deep within his dark mind, twisted them within that the hollow darkness to spell out a question in a manner like one was talking to ones own self. All of this would have been fine only, if one did all of that in front of a mirror in the shoddiest toilet. The atrocity of indulging the public in expectation of the public to figure out the rut of his mind was appalling. The answers seemed completely illogical to a sane mind. I invite Sun here to post the treasure hunt questions, the answers supported with the vivid, disabled logic, for rationale of answers. I have spent this time out of loss of sanity from the experience. How could one pull away such a blunder and yet get going on with it??
